I used to get files like this from Mark Jaquith’s website, but hasn’t released changed files packs for the last couple of upgrades. The zip below contains all files changed from version 2.2.2 to 2.2.3. If you, like me, run several WordPress blogs, uploading the changed files alone can really save lots of time.
WordPress 2.2.3 changed files
Please read (and follow) the upgrade instructions, although this particular upgrade does not require you to run the upgrade.php script. If this doesn’t work for you you’re on your own. It worked just fine for me though :).

One of the things I like about releasing WordPress themes is seeing what people do with them. Some just take out the credit link, other change so much I barely recognize my original work. And that’s a good thing. I try and make my themes easy to modify and do not attach any kind of license (which I know to be stupid, but I haven’t had the time to read up on things like Creative Commons).
Anyway, I liked Nikko City’s version (image above) of my Positive Feeling theme so much I thought I’d share it. They didn’t even change all that much, but seeing my layout used to sell Japanese cooking equipment made my day.

Am I the only one to be less than impressed with Apple’s announcements last night? The most expensive iPod will do all sorts of things, except store all your music. An iPhone without the phone part and the email client, but with all of it’s limitations. The Nano looks damn ugly now, and then there’s the “Wi-fi music store” that has nothing to do with wireless networks besides the fact that the two target devices (iPod Touch and iPhone) happen to use wi-fi to connect to the internet. And why would you have to pay 99c to use your own song as a ringtone on your own phone?
Sure, the 160GB iPod Classic is nice, and the 80GB is a bit cheaper now. But on the whole I was far more impressed with two other new music players.

A couple of people have emailed me questions about playing SWF files using the this.player plugin I released last week. There are some limitations to this, which I forgot to mention in my initial post. I’ll try to clarify things a bit more.

I was amazed last week when I released my Youtuber plugin for WordPress. I posted the plugin, went to sleep and by the time I woke up Weblogtoolscollection had already picked up on it. Their RSS feed is on pretty much every WP dashboard out there, and comments and trackbacks were coming in even though it had only been a couple of hours since I posted. The same thing happened a few days later when I decided to release the this.player plugin.
