Anyway, there is another way to resize a window in OS X other than dragging the bottom right corner, namely clicking the green button in the upper left corner of a window. This will resize the window to almost full screen (it will leave the righthand area of the &#039;desktop&#039; free, so you can always get to your harddisk without having to drag windows out of the way).
