Look different. In this use, “look” is a linking verb, not an action verb. Software applications don’t have eyes.

Yeah I liked gmail’s default color scheme. It was highly functional, very clear and efficient. I really don’t feel a need to dress up what is essentially a tool. But maybe it’s me. I;m also the type of person who leaves their desktop wallpaper-less and sets XP to its ‘basic’ look.

I already applied the new themes of Gmail… actually I used the “Desk” theme. I like this more than the old version of Gmail.

My only problem with Gmail themes is the incompatibility with iGoogle themes, Google should have one universal theme format across Gmail, iGoogle and Google Reader (and whatever else would be nice to add a theme to).

I like some of them and the performance is good. I only use webmail when I’m at work. I normally need to have a Desktop where all apps look like the Windows-UI. Thats why I don’t use Winamp, Live Messenger, ICQ, …

Well, some themes are just there for the sake of numbers. The more the better, you know. I guess some of them will find their users too.
