You have to upgrade one by one. When I too my brothers from Kubuntu Hardy to Jaunty, I had to go via Intrepid. It’s not a big deal, it just takes a little longer.

@Connix: I don’t know. I’m still new to upgrading. Does 8.04′s upgrade manager offer an upgrade to either 8.10 or 9.04?

Hi Roy,
Do I have to upgrade from 8.04 to 8.10 before I move to 9.04 or is a direct upgrade possible? Are there really no problems with the settings or installed applications etc? And last question: how did you start over the upgrade?
