  1. Hi Roy -

After going bleary-eyed and numb clicking through the items in the WordPress Themes library, I came upon yours. Clean, clear, simple — a thing of beauty! If my blog succeeds (and really think it might be a great success), then I will send you a donation… because your lovely Positive Feeling 1.2 will be a big part of it.

A question: If I use this theme just as it is… picture and all… will I be violating any copyrights? [And I'm assuming the picture is Easter Island, right?]

    Thanks so very much!

  2. Actually, the image comes from a royalty free photo sharing website. I consider it to be a placeholder, but if you want to use it I’m pretty sure you can.

It’s not Easter Island b.t.w., it’s a beach with moss-covered rocks. Location unknown to me.

  3. Hi Roy,

I have just downloaded your paper trail theme as I think it looks really clear and uncluttered. I will try it on my new blog and if it is successful I will make a donation.

I want to customize it a bit by adding a logo etc. I assume this is OK with you?

    Thanks

    Graham

  4. Hi Graham. You’re completely free to do whatever you like to your theme. In fact, I enjoy running into a heavily modified version every once in a while.

  5. Hey Roy

Thanxalot for that great Tag Cloud Plugin, it’s the central navigation tool on my minimalistic video site.

    http://postcast.gutemedien.de

Since it’s so minimalistic that there is no space for ‘thanx’ and ‘linx’ I do it this way. The site is not finished yet, still some material of my trip to edit and still looking for a way to randomly displaying the posts, so not always the newest is displayed first when clicking a tag or the start page. Any suggestions for that and you’re my all time hero ;-)

    With compliments

    Christoph

  6. Hi Christoph. Thanks for your donation.

Displaying post in a random order should be possible using the ‘query_posts’ template tag. It’s one of the most complicated tags to use, but the documentation is very good (http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/query_posts).

  9. Hi Roy,

I consider myself an advanced-beginner, early-intermediate coder and I was able to code your floating tag cloud into my client’s HTML site, taking it from an okay site, to one that absolutely thrills them. Your tag cloud makes me look waaay more accomplished than I am (but I’m not telling!). It is my pleasure to donate to you via paypal, but there’s no link. Point me to the link so I can send my thanks. The Eastern Europeans’ loss is our gain. Chris

  11. Hi,

Your WP-Cumulus plugin is surely one of the coolest ones, just what I needed. I believe the plugin fits the sites theme to the T. Have a look.
