A while ago, Automattic introduced sidebar widgets, a plugin that lets you manager your site’s sidebar(s) through WordPress. Pretty nifty, but none of my themes supported it. I’ve been getting more and more email asking me to fix this. I had a bit of time on my hands today, so I did.. Check themes.wordpress.net for the updated versions of “Tranquility“, “Tranquility White” and “Positive Feeling“.

  3. Actually, Firefox is my main browser, and I’ve tested all my themes extensively using FF.

  4. Hey Roy,

First, thanks for developing such great themes. I’ve been using Tranquility White, and modified it to suit almost perfectly my needs.

Granted, i want to upgrade to version 1.2, (now using 1.0) and i’d like to know if the widget stuff will work by just upgrading all the theme files, except the style.css one, which i more or less “modified heavily”.

    Thanks again, Roy.

  5. @Ruben: If you have the widgets plugin installed, upgrading to 1.2 should do the trick. You might have to set up the widgets in the widget control panel if you previously used a theme with named sidebars (like my Positive Feeling theme).
